Important things forgotten…
The Christianity of today barely resembles that of Apostolic times. Churches seem to establish their pet doctrines and peeves as sacred traditions, while ignoring the much larger body of teachings in the Bible. As with all religions, traditions are fervently protected, change is resisted, and correction is considered heresy. Yet many people are seeking a deeper, more meaningful and practical Christian experience. They flee their traditional mainline churches and seek independent movements—but alas, they bring along the very traditions and false doctrines they fled!
In these articles, I will attempt to point out some of the things that modern Christianity is neglecting, in a loving manner, and with scriptural authority.
